As per the study, use of genAI increased performance during practise but not the learning skill.
Recommendation:
- Use genAI for concept forming and understanding
- Reinforce learning by providing completing task with AI tutor designed with teacher’s hint.
Can we still cope up from failing ‘autopilot’ bugs me.
AI infallibility is still understudied. With model interpretability and explainability, the characterized failure reinforces human training to keep learning and develop other skills.
